$22k CAN ~ $16K US, right?  That's very high
for that car.  I think more like $14US is the 
most you should pay, but in any event, get a 
used car price book and check out the latest stats!

You reference "sport quattros".  What is that
model?  I know of the 80Q, 90Q, and 90q20V
for 1989-91.  There was a sport 90q, but that began later
ans is the revised V6 car.

The coupe has sport suspension, a 20V (not 10V) non-turbo
engine, and a bunch of other doo-dads.  It is somewhat more
cosztly to maintain than the regular 80 and 90 qs.  It's
plastic hatch and 2-door structure are also less stiff than
the sedans and more rattle/squeak prone.
