coupe springs advice?

I will l soon be installing the struts that came with my parts car on my 82
coupe.  They are just Monroe replacements, nothing special I suppose, but I
really really want to lower this thing.  Something between 3/4" to 1-1/4" in
front and maybe 1/2" in the rear.  I once measured the wheel well height of
a friend's 83 or 84 and it was a full inch lower than mine.  Mine looks
wrong, just plain sits too high.  Who can direct me to an appropriate
vendor/product for this?  Anybody BTDT?
