Hi Dan,
Thanks for getting me back into the loop, however that went wrong.
I have a 1980 5k in the field with steel rims. They are 14", and fairly
ugly! I need to be certain *how* to measure bolt circle dimension before I
go quoting it. Do you measure from one outside edge of a hole to the
center of the opposite one? That's the only way I've been able to make
sense of the 100/108mm thing. Those rims could be had for, say, $60 the set
, $100 with cool (?) audi logo tin wheel covers.
Second option is a friend who has steel wheels on her '83 coupe. She keeps
talking about buying my set of snowflake stock rims - and I would take her
steel ones as part of the deal. I could push that along and see where it
goes. Those rims are slightly nicer looking (ring of round holes, better
paint)
Let me know if I can help.
