re: Wet Trunk
Does anyone know what is involved in replacing door or trunk seals?
What did it cost to have someone else do it?
Or, how difficult was it to do yourself?
Any tips or traps to share?
Thanks to recent wet weather and all the talk about Wet Trunk, etc, I've
discovered water leaking in at two door seals, plus the trunk. It appears
the seals are damaged from age. I think they are porous/spongy and maybe
are acting like a wick instead of a seal. I've dried it out and am trying
the liberal silicone routine, but I'm not expecting it to completely solve
the problem.
