Re: Wet Trunk

I've found water leaking at the lower rear window corners, also on a
windshield...seeping in between the glass and rubber. Water tends to form a
little puddle there and slowly seeps in. It can be very tricky to spot.
When water is puddled there you might find a drip forming inside. Also,
ther may be a stain after the water has dried. There is special silicone
caulk intended for sealing windows that works quite well, flowable silicone.
I've used it successfully on more than one car to seal this kind of leak.
First I would try to clean out the joint where the water is seeping in with
a rag wrapped around a putty knife, first using a dry rag, then a clean one
with alcohol on it to try and get the surfaces as clean as possible.
