Firewall hole

On an A4: 
- Unscrew the single phillips screw from the plastic rainguard under the
windshield, on the passenger side under the hood.  It won't detach, but it
will now lift a little.
- Underneath that rainguard, there's a LARGE grommet around two metal pipes
and a thick wire.
- Pull that grommet out, and you can run a wire inside it and down to the
passenger floorboard.
