Warning lights

a) Check alternator belt not slipping.
b) Chassis grounds. Suspect every brown wire you find. Also check the
bunch of two to four (depending on options) brown wires screwed to
the side of the inlet manifold - they tend to suffer fatigue breaks.
c) Check alternator brush/controller insert.
