You give him $100, you get a contract, you take that and go find money (bank,
loan, mom, etc...), you send a copy to your insurance agent, and tell them to
turn it on the day you go pick up the car, you hand over the money, you smile.

My dealer offered to take $1520 over invoice, I haven't done it yet. Several
people have said $900, $1200, $1300 is more reasonable. Tax is Tax. I've
never been able to negotiate away the destination fee, you may have to pay
for the dealer's runner to stand in the Motor Vehicle line (documentation fee
and well worth it).
