Great news and some V8 questions

Hello qlisters,

As some of you know I am selling my 86 4kq and was looking at buying a
tqw for additional room, comfort, and power. My wife's opinion plays a
big role into what I buy since I need her support considering the number
of cars I have and the number I have gone through. I get bored with cars
very quickly and I am proud to say my 4kq has been with me for 2 years,
which is the longest I have kept any car!

Anyway, we looked at a wagon and my wife did not like it at all. She
encouraged me to go to the Mercedes dealer and look there since we both
love her 350SDL. There was not too much of interest for a reasonable
price. Then we went to the Audi dealer and they had a 91 V8 black/tan
with 76k miles in great shape with all service records. I have always
liked these cars so we took it for a ride. I was shocked to hear my
Mercedes' lovin wife say that she loved this car. SHe went so far as to
say she would even trade cars with me if I want.... I don't think so;-)

This brings me to some questions:

WHat is this car worth?

ANy predictions on the value in 4 years and 125k miles?

WHat are the problems to look for?

What maintenance issues should I be aware of?

How is the durability of this car compared to 4kq and 5ktq?

How expensive is it to maintain? ARe prices much more than 4kq prices?

What do major services cost? and how often are they required?

Any and all insight, opinions, and info would be appreciated.

BTW, the previous owner was Joe Ross who traded it in on an S4. Does
anyone know him? Is he on the list?
