Looked at the pictures and it is definitely a next generation Passat.
Photos of this cars were shown (with Audi badges) in AutoWeek some time ago,
and I saw the new Passat in France last month.  BTW, there was some
discussion on the list a couple months back that the next A6 is basically
identical to the Passat.
