Re: S4 battery replacement suggestions?

How timely...I just replaced the original battery in my '91 200q (delivered
11/90) with an Interstate Megatron MT-91. It has the vent, althouth it is
configured differently than OE and requires (comes with) an adapter kit.

My experience with Audi batteries: in the '87 4kcsq, it failed abruptly at
5 years--one day it failed to crank the car after a half day with parking
lights on, i recharged it (properly) and it failed me a week later--i
replaced it. in my folk's '80 4k, it failed at about 4 years. this time,
it slowed considerably the other day, and since i've got a few trips coming
up and winter is on its way, i'm not going to play the "just a few more
starts" game. Took 30 minutes at my local parts shop.
