I got the Leatherette or Naugahide or whatever it's called... It's easy to
clean, but it's also the least sticky.

No, no. Since we both (my SO and I) drive it, I am still experimenting with
a comfortable seating position. But even when the seat is all the way down,
my head still touches the ceiling - maybe you don't have the glass
moon-roof? Maybe my seatback is just too upright.

I'm talking about the center console - the push buttons, the radio and the
climate control. They do dim, but not as much as the speedo/tach
illumination. And even when the radio is off, all of its 30 or so buttons
are still on and glowing brighter than the clock, the fuel gauge or the
tachometer.

That's true. It's all a trade off. If I want the headroom I had in my Volvo
Turbo, I can't be getting the mileage I'm getting with the Audi. If I
wanted the Audi to corner the way the Nissan did, it wouldn't be able to
handle the bumps the amazing way it does... It's just that I was hoping for
a luxurious AND exciting sports car...
The good news is when the snow falls, I won't be stuck in my driveway like
I was with the exciting SE-R.
