in the a4 i'm driving, i've got 2.5 - 3" of head clearance, and have no
problem w/ knee clearance.

i'm almost 6'1", w/ most of my height in my trunk.  this a4 has a sunroof,
which typically reduces headroom.

i have the drivers seat all the way lowered, and the back is not inclined
much at all (nearly vertical).  i do have very long arms, so maybe i'm able
to get further back than you...
