Re: Rad leak
Other things to watch out for...
I recently replaced the radiator in my 4KCSQ.
The old one had three mounting thingies screwed into it that the new one
didn't come with.
It was necessary to either remove them from the old rad for reuse or get new
ones.
I was able to use only one of the old ones.
Two were rubber mounts with threaded stud, one was just a stud.
They were pretty well permanently seized. Availability at the local dealer
was limited, one dealer had none in stock, the other dealer had only the
wrong size in stock which I was able to use...cost $14 for a rubber mount.
As always, in my case, what some folks say is a thirty minute job took MUCH
longer, what with trying to reuse old parts, track down new ones, trip to
dealer, etc.
