frozen tie-rod
I have a 1987 4000CS Quattro
Whats the best way to break free a frozen tie-rod end?
I've been spraying it with liquid wrench for over four days now and
nuthing.
Whats next? applying heat? cutting the nut?
I also plan to change my front and rear diff. fluid, I think its
80/90 GL5 front and 90 GL5 rear.
I'm not sure on the amounts though, and remember reading that you
should overfill the center.
I have about 5 quarts of 80/90 GL5 synthetic can I use that for the
rear too?
thanks for all the help..
