Very sorry to hear about this incident.  Very happy to hear that your
wife is well.  I wish you good luck in getting a proper insurance
settlement and in finding another Audi.

Your comments about the Audi vs. Honda have hit home with me.  My mom
lives in LA and drives an '85 Accord.  I've been trying to persuade her
to get an Audi for some time.  Maybe I'll use this one on her.  She just
can't get over the perception of superior reliability of a Honda or
Toyota.  Maybe if I lived closer, I could be more persuasive with
assurances of mechanical assitance.  I'd take on a little extra
mechanical work over death any day.

Bob, don't forget to help your wife out a little extra in the kitchen
tomorrow, cooking that is :-), er, um, I mean preparing food, yeah that's
it. ;-)    She must be pretty shaken up.
