i think you have this sdrawkcab.                                                
when giugiaro designed the A1 rabbit/golf concept car for vw, it looked more    
like the A1 scirocco.  when he later offered his redesign of the scirocco to    
VW, they said "no thanks" so he sold the design to isuzu, with whom he had      
previously worked on other projects.  there is nothing similar between the      
scirocco and the impulse other than his influence in the styling of the body.   
however, the legend/sterling are of the same platform.
