Schaumberg Throttle Body Mod.

I'm waiting for delivery of a 97 A4q, supposedly to arrive about
mid-December. To asuage my anxieties and impatience, I've been browsing
the quattro list. The situation with the throttle of the A4q has come up
in a few posts and aroused my curiosity. I noticed that the throttle on
the cars I test drove was strange and wonder if changing this "uneven"
feeling is what the Schaumberg throttle body modification is all about. 

Is the mod a dealer thing? DIYS? Bolt on? What does it accomplish? I'd
appreciate all responses and especialy to my email if convenient, since
I visit my Mac infrequently. Thanks.
