I had a cousin whom lived in Frankfurt, Germany(German citizen) whom 
ordered a WMB from the factory, as described in earlier post, and waited 
9 months to collect the car!!!

My other German friend ordered an Audi, via the factory, with some 
special options, and he collected the car in 5 weeks! 

WMB's explination for the extensive wait, was "our cars are back ordered
that far".

Audi's explination, "The auto is selected prior to its journey on the 
assembly line, and throughout assembly it is specially prepaired, as 
requested by the customer"

I know that US customers can also "specialty" order, but the wait is 
quite extensive! Its just most US dealers dont want to hassle with a 
sale lingering around for months! The quota system! 

It also known US customers are very impatient!!!! We want our cars and 
we want them now!!
