Re: New Audi A6 Wagon?

There will be a huge difference between current A6 and new A6.

The current model is essentially the old 100 updated. (I think this was
4000 in US).

The new model follows very closely the design features of A4/A8 (without
the aluminium body) and will therefore be state-of-art according to Audi.

Interestingly Wheels mag of Australia did a comparo including the new BMW
523 and the current A6Q sedan. They missed the point totally about the A6
being a design that's basically several years old, saying that it had
recently been updated. The 523 is BMWs latest and greatest (and very
good the 5-series is too). The A6 was only just beaten in comparison with
the 523 on overall assessment, and was 15% cheaper.

New A6 will take 5 series head on and hopefully do what A4 is doing to
3 series worldwide.

Should you wait, Ken? Depends how long and how much $$.
