Tornado Red Uni-Color Paint

Oxidised _alcohol_?  Sure?

I'd be tempted to suspect dissolved or suspended solids (such as calcium salts) 
in the _water_.
 
Have you tried de-ionised or distilled water in the washers?

(Trivia note:  "Tornado Red" is actually a mis-translation of "Toronado Rot".)
