Torsen or not Torsen? That is my question..

As I'm getting the parts together for my 20V ur q, I come to a bit of a
dilemna as to whether or not to put Torsen center and rear diffs. in my car.
I have the rear diff. from a '90 V8 which I was planning on installing in a
late 4kq/80/90q diff. housing. I do not have the Torsen equipped
transmission yet.

After playing in the snow this weekend, I found the ur q reacts a bit
differently with the center locked than my 5ktq. I could get the rear end
around quite easily with the power on which I could never do before with the
5ktq. (To the driver of the purple Neon who I sprayed with snow as I rocketed
past sideways on the onramp to C470: Sorry, but I was just driving with
panache! I got a little upset when you cut me off on the ice. ) But I
digress...

Anyway I have heard that Torsens are THE thing to have, but my question is
WHY? All technical and first hand experience opinions are welcome.

TIA!
