Piech has been talking about this for a while.  His idea of the perfect car
is one that goes 100Km/L and make 300 Pferde.  It will be
aluminum/composite, survive horrible crashes, carry a family, last 20 years
and be totally recycelable.  It should be all of this and (you may want to
sit down) affordable.
He's a total techie.  The Soest opperation (where the A8 bodies are made) is
his baby.  Without him, I doubt the ALCOA/Audi colaberation would have never
happened.
He's on our side.  He's one of us.
