Headlight relays
Question Quattrophiles:
I just ordered h.o. 9005/6 ionized bulbs/wiring harness for my V8Q from
Competition Ltd. yesterday (received today). I understand that since their
relay set-up uses one side of the harness to trigger the new Hi-Amp circuit,
often the dash bulb warning light will go on, due to the differential current
draw. I suggested to them that I might put resistors in the place of the
current bulbs in the non-relayed side to avoid this anoyance, but he said he
didn't have the specs and each car is different. Anyone have any
thoughts/experience?
