such that they broke loose before fronts during non-braking cornering, ABS 
won't do any good; have to be braking to have it work; even then, I wouldn't
count on it ALWAYS eliminating an oversteer condition.  I have had the 
back end come around slightly occasionally when cornering in snow on my
'90 Coupe Quattro.
