Well, just as I was enjoying how the replacement engine is dialed in to a
key touch start at 15 F, I was visiting a friend with some info and tools to
work on their steam heat system.  Wasn't sure if they were home so I got out
of my car without the stuff.  The storm door opened and her face appeared,
so I turned around to open my door and get the level etc.  The door handle I
replaced a year ago snapped like a little matchstick!  Whatta drag.  My keys
were in the ignition and passenger door was locked.  She lent me her adnoH
civiC to go home and get a spare key.  Funny how much "nicer" of a ride that
thing was.  So long as you don't do *anything* spirited.  So now it's out to
the spare parts depot (my field) to pick the best old drivers door handle in
stock, and switch the cylinders so my key still fits.  I thought when I
replaced that handle I was good for 3-5 years.
