in case some of you heard none or part of the story:                            
bobby unser (one-time pikes peak record holder in a S1Q) and a friend           
were missing for two days while snowmobiling near the new mexico/colorado       
border.  (unser snowmobile outings are nearly as legendary as the hillclimb     
and indycar adventures.)  conditions included subzero temps, deep snow, high    
elevation, high winds and no food in a wilderness area.  they walked quite a    
few miles and spent two nights in snow caves before being rescued by "big al".  
i'm sure this will be a special christmas for the unser family!
