Various, low Audi cont.
Hello fellow listers,
I'd like to start out with wishing you all a happy, healthy and prosperous
new year for yourself and your loved ones.
This morning I awoke my Audi for going to work after not using it for
nearly two weeks. Despite the battery being the original ('88, 202k km!!!)
and the outside temp being somewhere around -18 deg C, it started first
time! If only everything in life would be as reliable as my Audi...
...well, clearly it isn't, judging by the huge amount of broken-down cars
along my route to work. Among them three Toyotas, judged to be the most
reliable cars in Europe by the press and roadside assistance. Not a
stricken Audi in sight!
On the subject of reliability- a hard drive crash means that both my unread
q-lists and all personal correspondence have vanished into oblivion.
@#$$^%&%^!
I'll better visit the archives again... and start collecting the e-mail
adresses of everyone I've been writing with... aaaargh!
Oh well. You can't win them all.

Capt. Blackadder: 'Well, the usual procedure is to jump sixty feet in
the air, and scatter yourself over a large area.'
