A4 Driveline Shudder just appeared!

I've been following the recent discussions about the A4 Driveline shudder.
I have a 97 A4Q with 3500 miles. I thought they fixed this problems in the
97s because I could not reproduce the problem until it happened tonight by
accident. Now, it only happens while shifting from 3rd to 4th at RPMs above
4000. 

Did anyone get an a straight answer from the dealer about this? Any guesses
why this just started happening? It really feels like the clutch is
slipping and grabbing as the engine "pulls" down the RPMs as the clutch is
engaged after an upshift from 3rd to 4th.
