This time last year I had the altenator rebuilt, but the voltage reading
on the digi-dash has never gone above 13.5 since. Before the rebuild it
normally read between 14 and 15volts. Went back to the shop twice but on
both occasions they said the unit was functioning perfectly. Sure, there
hasn't been any problems, but after seeing this thread.....I'm curious.
I've never seen the mag EC on sale over here so I'm at a loss regarding
the mod. Are there benefits?? Any probs. running at 13.5 max??
I was told a long time ago the ur-q should run 14.5v
