91 200 q brake warning lite

Thickness is only one parameter.  If there's enough thickness and the light's 
still on - why?

Like I say - it _might_ be fine.  It might just be the old "wear warning" 
simply isn't hooked up.  Or the pads don't have the wires, or ...
 
But it's a symptom of something not being right - and that something has a 
_cause_.  Very likely, a dumb mechanic.  So - why suddenly trust the rest of 
his handiwork at 75mph?
