No flame from me here - a wise choice! Right, Anka Bart?
I myself am guilty of sizing up a coupla of them Quantum Syncros for my
wife 2 years ago as an entry into a German stick shift experience. Too
bad, both of them were beat up rather badly. Wanted to wait for the
right one, but the wife was fed up by a floaty Mitsu automatic and was
kinda pushing me for a stick. I wound up buying an '88 Fox (very cheap)
for a few mos, just to keep her off my back, while I was looking for a
decent Syncro or a 4000 Quattro. The Fox proved to be reliable as a
swiss watch, despite an orphan like treatment on my part. My Audis are
like capriccious queens, like to be treated well and served with
attention. Sometime show their bad temper. The VeeDub on the other hand
is always happy and running.
Did I ever mention that I also don't like the two door sports cars (yes,
even *the icon* - the esteemed UrQ)? Oops, I better put some Nomex on
myself here =8)
