Interesting. I -live- in Seattle. Mine was shipped in from Houston, and I
was told that that is one of TWO entry points, as I said. I wonder why mine
came from so far away.

>Her '88 Sentra will smoke a '97 328i convertible?

No, no, no. It will smoke all by itself. The Sentra isn't a good car - it
was humor. (She does drive a Sentra, and I hate it as much as she hates
BMWs.) My A4Q will smoke a 328i on sand, gravel, snow, or mud though.

Woke up on the wrong side of the psycho-ward this morning? I'm an okay
driver, but there are certainly women drivers who are better, and who could
probably beat me in a Neon Sport even.

That was the point - BMWs as a whole aren't any more consistent than Fords.
Being religious about a car brand doesn't make a lot of sense. Avoiding
them religiously can make sense, but I wouldn't avoid either Audi or BMW.

The 5-series, yes. The 3-series, not a chance. Been in both quite a bit.
Both Saab and Audi have the 318 and 328s thoroughly trounced in interior fit
and quality.

> If you are pissed b/c you feel that you wasted your money, tough.

Where did this come from? I've defended BMW here. I'm quite happy with my
Audi, but would probably not be in a Quattro were I still in L.A., just as I
said. I'm guessing that in addition to waking up on the wrong side of the
ward this morning, you wouldn't let the nurses give you your demerol.

I've got a Rolex. Don't ever wear it because it's too bulky, but I can
afford these toys. Grow up.

>Todd (clinging to 80's fads I guess)

Cling away. Maybe you should cut down on the '80s fads of espresso and
cocaine, but have at the rest of them!
