Creaking doors

Got the creaks?

BTDT with the silicone.  Replaced all four stricker stubbie things on the body
when I got the car.  I've adjusted them and the doors.

If you've done the above and still have some annoying creaking doors it may be
the windows.  I don't know why it took me almost a year to figure this out but
my worst noise came from the LR door.  Only last week did I figure out it was
the window.  Crack the window a hair and the noise would stop.

Having just done a window motor the week before I knew what I'd find with the
panel off.  Most of you have BTDT with the doors a billion times.

All I did was adjust the screw that sets the max window height back a bit.  Run
the window up and down and do the same.  When it finally went up as far as it
liked to or I should say was allowed to by the window molding I stopped.  A 6mm
socket fits the adjuster.

Then I backed off the four 10mm bolts that position the window L-R etc and run
the window up down and retighten.

Quiet windows now!
