... I think I have a copy of the newer Coupe Quattro fiche I'll make a note to 
look it up.  One thing that I have noticed on the newer cars is that there is
more of a tendency to hide actual production numbers by starting each month 
on an even 100 or 500 boundary.  In the case of the US ur-qs you may be able 
to infer the number of cars shipped to the states based on the engine production
numbers as the engine was used only in that application ... I don't know if 
that will be true of the newer CQs ...

It is probably still the best bet to see what you can get from AoA ...
