I'm guessing that you must have just subscribed, because the list has
recently (within the past month or so) generated a lot of discussion on
lighting, specifically Hella XLs (which would be a better auxiliary
headlight choice than the 550's), Euro lights and whatever else people have
experimented with.
Check the archives for the past month or so, and you'll "see" (pun intended)
what everyone has had to said.
I paid $99.00 for my XLs at Pep Boys (and then some little $ at Home Depot
for installation tidbits). Other than my CB radio set-up (i.e. Smokey
patroller and traffic monitor....), it was the best $100.00 I've spent on my
car. I can't imagine driving without (either of) them.
