My 200Q is a model year 1988/89 running the MC 10V engine and was converted 
to the 2-piece EM about 3 years ago. With the introduction of the 20V
engine for the 200Q in 1989 all 200Q in Germany did come with the 2-piece EM.
For a 200Q you can't even buy a 1-piece EM from Audi anymore.
The clearance isn't much different from the 1-piece EM and the conversion
comes with the usual problems like broken studs at the head or at the turbo.
My dealer charged me about 1700 US$ for that job including parts , with the
parts alone at 1150 US$ ( including a new O2-Sensor ).
