Maybe a weak suggestion but:
What kind of gas are you using? Super? Is it oxygenated? My coupe didn't 
fair well with oxygenated gas. Further, my mechanic and I believe several 
listers recommend Chevron Super unleaded.

Also, the hesitation you experience-does it happen ONLY when you have your 
climate control system on? The climate control definitely saps my car; the 
engine doesn't respond as quickly when it is on. Maybe in the dead of 
winter, you have the fans and heaters running full bore, exaggerating the 
situation.

THe mileage seems pretty good to me, but if the gas is mediocre, it can 
reduce your mileage, too.
