Hi Robert,

I had a similar problem and my installer suggested that I disconnect the
ground running to the amp.  I was given some sort of explanation that I
didn't really understand, but I gave it a shot and it worked.  I had
tried all kinds of inline filters and other suggestions but this
eliminated the whine completely.  Obviously make sure that you are able
to easily reconnect the ground if this doesn't work for you or if it
causes some other type of problem.
