Sorry...my error! I was thinking about the wastegate frequency valve
which *does* have an electrical connection to it. Mea culpa!
The bypass valve dumps boost back into the inlet of the turbo so that it can
"freewheel" during the time when the throttle plate is closed (high vacuum).
I think that the Saab 900 Turbo uses the same part (Bosch), and it may be
cheaper to get it from the Saab dealer.
