Re: FW: Virus alert(no audi content)

you know, I could write one of these also and probably scare alot of people
with it, but this is clearly false. I will tell you why. Number one, any
virus that could attack al O/S systems would be pretty huge. The kind of
programming that would be required to affect all IBM compatible computers
as well as all Mac O/S computers is incredibly complex as they use
completely different programming languages.
there is also the fact that as well as the complexity needed to be cross
platform, it would have to be very complex as well to search through the
information on a hard drive and somhow interpret passwords and send them
out to others.

But of course this is my humble opinion because i am not a programmer, I am
jsut a computer user. So any of you who whish to flog me for these
comments, please do.

I would also like to take the time to say that, if you truly are worried
about computer virii, then buy a Macintosh. As well as being the most
technologically advanced in hardware and processors, it also has a total of
about 20-30 viruses total for the computer, and none of them are very
severe at all and can be completely eradicated using a virus detecting
software. So if any of you want to say anything to me about this, i would
wlcome a personal debate of Wintel vs the Mac.
Bye all and sorry for the length of the post.
