Rallye 4kq sighting CT

On I-95 today in CT, between Norwalk and Fairfield I saw an interesting
car--an early 4kq, white, tricked out in ralllye trim, roll bar, large hellas
in front, lots of race graphics etc, with vanity plate "Alaska".  If the
driver is out there, I'm interested in that car, not to buy, just what has it
done?  I was in the black TQC, having a hard time catching up to wave before
I had to exit.  Anyone else know this car? (bob d'amato?)  Rob Greene
