Even with stock bulbs, you wouldn't get 100 yards without being flashed.
I know - I've brought European cars to the UK and left the masking off
process until I was in England - you get flashed as you leave the dock
gates.
>>>> hmmm.... Worked for me, and remember you are bringing a set of matched
lights from EC to UK, this only has 1 "out of whack"... It works, try it,
you have the ability to do this cheaply..... BTDT myself for years, it is
way less offensive than the 100w dips proposed here by some....

From a hundred yards away, it doesn't matter to the observer which
pattern is "wrong", they're about equally bright. Actually, the
uplift angle on the right pattern (RHD, remember) is more like 30
degrees than 45, and the left light is definitely steeper than 45 -
more like 60. On the left, it's almost a wall of light.

I might argue that what you have is an alignment problem.... If you buy a
set of euro 5 3/4 rounds or quad rectangles, or 7 inch rounds, there is no
left and right, it's the same part number, and they have an identical beam
pattern (45% is for example, it could be 30 it could be 50, but they are the
same right to left).... You can adjust the angle with the mounting of the
bezel..... I have only done this with euro conversions, tho I would doubt
that the euro stocks vary.... Certainly if they do, another argument for
doing quads in my book.....
