Even with stock bulbs, you wouldn't get 100 yards without being flashed.
I know - I've brought European cars to the UK and left the masking off
process until I was in England - you get flashed as you leave the dock
gates.

uplift angle on the right pattern (RHD, remember) is more like 30
degrees than 45, and the left light is definitely steeper than 45 -
more like 60.  On the left, it's almost a wall of light.
