Yes, a bad bomb often causes crummy pedal feel. I am looking at replacing
mine quite soon....
$520 is pretty steep. Mail order, the part can be had for $250-$300, and
it is typically an hour or less to put in with the right tools.
I think I'm going to order it and do it myself....
