Bought It, and a Stupid Question

Well, I made a deal for a black A4 1.8TQ which is due to arrive in New
Orleans on February 20 and be in my hands on the 25th. Should be a great
present to myself as I am finishing school (after being a full time
student for 23 of my 26 years) at about that time. Options on the car
are the sport package and the sunroof package. Markup is exactly 6%.
Something like 1462 USD. That was more than I wanted to settle for but
it was hard to say no when the exact same vehicle (except tranny) was
sitting five feet away. Dealer was also able to beat my credit union
with seven percent financing. Bonus!

	Now for the stupid question part. I have been reading with interest the
posts of chip upgrades. How does the actual procedure work? Is it
necessary or recommended that you take the whole car to Ned or whoever
else? Or can the chip be removed and sent for reprogramming? Is there
any realistic chance that it will get ****ed up and I will have to
replace it?

	Last thing. I have seen ads for TAP. Can someone please forward to me
the telephone number of Ned at IA. Thanks.
