Mine has ca. 250k miles on the chassis and 150k on the engine - the owner 
before last hadn't heard about oil changes.  Seems OK still.  Nice cheap car, 
handles quite well, starts first time.  It's the family runabaout and the 
"parts fetching" car for the quattro.
