I'm not sure when it was built, but the Treser ur-quattro Roadster also has
bonded-in glass. It has a Sport-like A-pillar and screen, with a _very_ short
passenger compartment (ends an inch behind the seat) so it's a bit like a pick-
up with a growth hormone problem. You would barely get an umbrella behind
the seats. The glass is bonded to the hard top with 2"-wide adhesive borders,
which have now aged and gone blotchy. It looks _awful_ - even its Mom would
retch. We had the thing in the marquee at Coy's last year and its present
owner was asking for offers. I don't think anyone even asked him what ballpark
he was looking for.
But I can imagine Audi looking at the bonded-in glass and saying: "Well, that's
how NOT to do it."
