RE: Butane lighters unite
Would it perhaps make sense to add at what distance the measurements
were taken? If so, perhaps take measurements fairly close, like 5 feet,
at a middle distance, like maybe 200 feet, and at a longer distance,
like 500 feet. Then there's the issue of high vs. low beams, on-center
vs. off by some repeatable angle, etc.
Just my US$0.02, to add to an already cluttered discussion. I think
Phil's measurements are the first real "mine's bigger. No mine is, it's
xxx lumens at 5 feet, on center, on low beams, measured with a yyy
meter" contribution to this "discussion".
