I have a Nokia 2120 TDMA phone & an A4/Factory stereo. No problems.
You may want to check the following:
 (a) your particular phone:
I work in cellular & have had experience of a few
individual phones (mostly Digital) that caused
this problem, while others of the same model didn't.
 (b) your cellph antenna wiring if using a car-kit. Often the
placement of the antenna or antenna cable will contribute.
(Obviously doesn't apply if using the phone's own antenna)
 (b) your stereo setup/shielding/interference rejection (last
resort assuming you don't get noises without the phone).

Good luck,
